Municipality of Nueva Valencia

Nueva Valencia is a 4th class municipality in the province of Guimaras, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 30,716 people in 6,043 households. This is the site of Guimaras oil spill since August 2006. The boat named MT Solar 1 was sunken few kilometers from Nueva Valencia.
