GMA assures inclusion of Metro Iloilo, Guimaras projects in government funding

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo assured members of the Metro Iloilo Guimaras Economic Development Council (MIGEDC) that their priority projects will be included in government appropriation.

Iloilo City Mayor and MIGEDC chair Jerry P. Treñas met with President Arroyo after the latter arrived from her state visit in Europe. During the meeting, he was assured by the President that the proposed road networks and circumferential roads of the council would be included in the government budget.

Further, President Arroyo assured Treñas that the projects would be completed before the end of her term.
